Mechanical Fitter-Gyprock Plant (24/5 days rotating roster) - Coopers Plains, QLD

Attractive hourly rate + super + CSR benefits.
Gyprock Plant operates 24/5 days a week
Rotating roster (Morning 6am-2pm, Afternoon 2pm-10pm, night 10pm-6am)

About the role

The Mechanical Fitter role is a Full-time position, based at Coopers Plains, QLD. Reporting to the Manager at our Gyprock manufacturing site, you will be working on Monday - Friday assisting with general maintenance and breakdown work.

Ideally, the successful applicant will be required to have a manufacturing or Building background, Mechanical Fitter Trade Certificate or similar, have good attendance and have a strong awareness and regard for health, safety and the environment.

Duties & Responsibilities

Maintaining operational machines in our Gyprock manufacturing site.
Complete planned maintenance tasks.
Fault diagnosis and breakdown repairs.
Complete repairs or modifications as requested by your supervisor.
Fitting, welding repairs and Pneumatics.
Maintain safe work & operating practices; and maintain a high standard of housekeeping.
