About the role
The Mechanical Fitter role is a Full-time position, based at Coopers Plains, QLD. Reporting to the Manager at our Gyprock manufacturing site, you will be working on Monday - Friday assisting with general maintenance and breakdown work.
Ideally, the successful applicant will be required to have a manufacturing or Building background, Mechanical Fitter Trade Certificate or similar, have good attendance and have a strong awareness and regard for health, safety and the environment.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Maintaining operational machines in our Gyprock manufacturing site.
- Complete planned maintenance tasks.
- Fault diagnosis and breakdown repairs.
- Complete repairs or modifications as requested by your supervisor.
- Fitting, welding repairs and Pneumatics.
- Maintain safe work & operating practices; and maintain a high standard of housekeeping.
