About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced
Heavy Diesel Mechanic / HD Fitter to join our team based in Acacia Ridge.
This role will see you working on heavy equipment, mobile plant, access equipment and similar machinery, carrying out fault finding, breakdown repairs and preventative maintenance. You’ll work both independently and collaboratively to deliver high-quality, safe service outcomes for our customers.

What You’ll Be Doing:
- Fault finding, troubleshooting and resolving breakdowns
- Undertaking scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance
- Diagnosing mechanical and hydraulic issues
- Attending customer sites to deliver high-quality and safe service
- Collaborating with the team on major repairs, overhauls and commissioning
About You:
- Solid experience as a Diesel Mechanic or HD Fitter within heavy equipment (Transport, Construction, Agricultural or Mining industries)
- Strong background in diagnostics, servicing and hydraulics
- Mechanical Trade Qualification (Heavy Diesel Mechanic, Plant Mechanic or similar)
- Current Australian driver’s licence
- Strong commitment to safe work practices
- Good communication skills and ability to work autonomously
- Full working rights in Australia
- Ability to undergo a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screening
