About the role

We are seeking a talented and passionate Cook to join the team at ACDHospitality PTY LTD in Cootamundra, NSW. This is a full-time position that offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary skills in a dynamic hospitality environment. As a Cook, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests, working as part of a collaborative kitchen team to prepare high-quality dishes that reflect our commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction.

What you'll be doing

Preparing and cooking a variety of dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards
Ensuring all food is prepared to the highest quality and hygiene standards in compliance with food safety regulations
Managing station responsibilities and maintaining an organised, clean and efficient workspace
Plating and presenting dishes attractively and consistently
Working collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods
Monitoring food inventory and reporting stock levels to management
Following all health and safety protocols and maintaining a clean kitchen environment
Responding to feedback from senior chefs and continuously improving cooking techniques
Assisting with menu planning and food preparation activities as required

What we're looking for

Proven experience working as a Cook in a professional kitchen environment
Sound knowledge of food preparation, cooking methods and food safety standards
Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain consistent quality in dish presentation
Excellent time management skills with the ability to work efficiently during peak service times
Good physical fitness and stamina for standing for extended periods and working in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow instructions from senior kitchen staff
Strong communication skills and a positive attitude towards feedback and continuous improvement
A passion for food and genuine commitment to delivering excellent customer experiences
Current food safety certification or willingness to obtain certification as required
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends and public holidays as needed
