Office Administrator / Operations Coordinator
Cardiff, NSW | Full-time | Part Time

About Us

Powered Electrical & Data (PED) is a growing electrical contracting business servicing Newcastle and the Hunter region, with work spanning commercial fitouts, schools, aged care, and retail projects. We're a team of around a dozen, and we're looking for an experienced, highly organised Office Administrator to keep our operations running smoothly.

The Role

Reporting to our Operations Manager, you'll be the operational backbone of the office, handling:

Email and client/field staff liaison
Job scheduling
Purchase orders and supplier account reconciliation
General accounts administration
Vehicle fleet coordination
Apprenticeship record-keeping — maintaining training logs and compliance documentation for our apprentices
Keeping the office stocked and organised, including ordering office supplies
Document management and record-keepingThere's genuine scope to grow with this role — as we build out our systems and processes, it has a clear path toward an Office Manager / Operations Manager position for the right person.
Basic social media support — helping put together posts and run simple ad campaigns (e.g. on Facebook and Instagram)

Essential Skills & Experience

At least 3 years' experience in admin or office coordination
Strong Microsoft 365 skills
Excellent attention to detail
Experience processing purchase orders and reconciling accounts
Trades industry experience highly regarded

Desirable (not essential)

Simpro or similar job management software
Basic bookkeeping or accounts experience
Some familiarity with running social media ads (Facebook/Instagram)
