The Opportunity
Reporting to the GM Visy Automation, this role sits at the centre of our national service offering - leading technical delivery, service capability and spare parts growth across Australia and New Zealand.

You’ll take full ownership of our Service function, leading a geographically dispersed team while driving safety, operational performance and strong commercial outcomes. This is a hands-on leadership role, with a strong focus on customer engagement, technical excellence and building a high-performing service culture.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and develop a national team of service technicians across multiple locations
Drive a strong safety-first culture and ensure full HSE compliance
Own service P&L including revenue growth, cost control and profitability
Grow technical service revenue and expand the customer base
Drive spare parts sales and strengthen overall service capability
Standardise service delivery, training and technical capability across the business
Act as the escalation point for complex technical issues
Partner with Sales, Projects and Engineering to deliver strong customer outcomes
Lead customer engagement, reviews and performance reporting against SLAs
Drive continuous improvement, efficiency and streamlined work practices

What You’ll Bring

Proven experience in a senior service, operations or technical leadership role
Strong background in automation, materials handling or industrial equipment
Demonstrated experience leading and developing remote, multi-site teams
Strong commercial acumen with ownership of revenue and performance outcomes
Hands-on technical capability and customer-facing service experience
Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to balance strategic thinking with day-to-day operational delivery
