About the Role

We are looking for an experienced, commercially minded and results-driven Google Ads & Meta Ads Manager to plan, launch, manage and optimise paid media campaigns across Google and Meta. You will be accountable for measurable outcomes - qualified leads, sales, CPA/CPL efficiency and return on ad spend (ROAS) - while continuously testing and improving campaign performance.

This role suits a hands-on performance marketer who is comfortable managing multiple client accounts, interpreting data, solving performance issues and communicating recommendations with confidence.

Key Responsibilities

Google Ads Management

Plan, build and manage Search, Performance Max, Display, Shopping, YouTube and remarketing campaigns.
Conduct keyword, search-term and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities.
Build disciplined campaign structures, ad groups, audience signals and negative-keyword frameworks.
Write and test high-converting ad copy aligned with search intent and landing-page relevance.
Optimise bidding, budgets, Quality Score and conversion performance to improve ROI.
Identify waste, reallocate spend and scale campaigns that demonstrate profitable performance.

Meta Ads Management

Create and manage Facebook and Instagram campaigns across lead generation, sales and conversion objectives.
Develop prospecting, retargeting, custom and lookalike audience strategies.
Produce strong ad copy and actionable creative briefs for designers/content teams.
Run structured A/B tests across audiences, creative, messaging, offers and placements.
Monitor performance frequently, diagnose underperformance and scale winning campaigns responsibly.
Maintain profitability while improving lead quality, conversion volume and acquisition efficiency.

Tracking, Optimisation & Analytics

Monitor CTR, CPC, CPL/CPA, conversion rate, ROAS and other commercial KPIs across platforms.
Analyse conversion data, customer behaviour and funnel performance to identify optimisation opportunities.
Implement and troubleshoot conversion tracking using Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, Google Ads and MetaAds Manager.
Validate tracking accuracy and flag attribution or data-quality issues before they affect decision-making.
Translate campaign data into clear actions rather than reporting metrics in isolation.

Reporting & Client Management

Prepare concise monthly performance reports covering results, insights, actions taken and next-step recommendations.
Attend client meetings when required and explain performance in clear, commercial language.
Understand each client's business objectives, margins, lead quality and growth priorities.
Provide proactive strategic recommendations rather than waiting for client direction.
Respond promptly to client enquiries and build long-term relationships through reliable communication.

What Success Looks Like

Campaigns are accurately tracked, commercially focused and continuously optimised.
CPA/CPL trends improve while lead quality and conversion volume remain healthy.
ROAS and budget efficiency improve without sacrificing sustainable growth.
Clients understand what is happening, why it matters and what action is being taken.
Winning campaigns are scaled methodically, with risks and performance trade-offs clearly understood.

Skills & Experience

Essential

Minimum 2 years' hands-on experience managing Google Ads and Meta Ads campaigns.
Demonstrated experience managing multiple client accounts and advertising budgets.
Strong working knowledge of Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, GA4 and Google Tag Manager.
Strong analytical and problem-solving capability, with confidence interpreting campaign data.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and disciplined account-management habits.
Ability to work independently, prioritise competing accounts and collaborate with a wider digital team.

Highly Regarded

Google Ads certifications and/or Meta Blueprint certification.
Experience with eCommerce, lead-generation and local-service campaigns.
Experience improving landing-page conversion rates or contributing to CRO recommendations.
Experience working in a digital marketing company or multi-client performance environment.
