Japanese - Year 7-12

Teachers will be responsible for implementing the Australian Curriculum Version 9.0 and relevant Queensland Senior Curriculum/QCAA syllabuses, while supporting student learning progression within a framework of equity and excellence.

As a teacher at Mount Gravatt State High School, you will contribute to the school's explicit improvement agenda, including:

Thinking strategically and innovatively about curriculum, pedagogy and professional growth to support continuous improvement.
Delivering engaging and purposeful teaching and learning programs aligned with the Australian Curriculum and Queensland Senior Curriculum.
Supporting the learning progression and achievement of all students within a framework of equity and excellence.
Ensuring a consistent approach to pedagogy to reduce variance in student outcomes.
Strengthening high performance and achievement in senior outcomes.
Developing teaching strategies that respond to the literacy, numeracy and cognitive demands of the curriculum.
Embedding the Mount Gravatt High Approach to Pedagogy.
Implementing the Mount Gravatt High Curriculum Planning Process.
Actively participating in faculty-based professional learning teams.
Contributing to a culture of reflection, collaboration and continuous improvement.
