Full Job Description

As the successful applicant, you will undertake a range of administrative and support functions within the Western Region Business Services HR and Finance teams.

Victoria Police is a contemporary and agile workplace and supports flexible working arrangements.

As the successful applicant your duties will include:

Responding to general HR, Finance and Regional Business enquiries via both telephone and email
Updating of databases and spreadsheets
Conduct regular database, timesheet, and list management audits
Assist in the development, collation, and distribution of a range of reports for Senior Management
A wide range of routine financial, purchasing and administrative transactions
Taking, recording, and compiling meeting minutes and associated documentation
Management of correspondence, both electronic and physical, across multiple work units
Review and update intranet content in line with policy and process changes
Liaising and developing good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Provide general clerical and administrative support to the Western Region Business Manager and Senior Business Analyst

As the successful applicant, you will have:

Highly developed administrative skills including strong attention to detail, accuracy, and time management skills
Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks
Customer service skills with a demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and confidentiality
Demonstrated experience in contributing to a small team
Strong Microsoft Office experience and ability to quickly learn new systems
Strong understanding of the importance of confidentiality and Police values

Requirements and relevant information

One full time, ongoing VPS2 position available
VPS2: $62,104 - $ $79,75 p.a. plus superannuation
The usual place of work will be Western Region Business, located at Western Region Headquarters Geelong. However, you may be expected to work out of any location within Western Region Business, as required.
Applicants must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or hold a valid work permit or visa.
The successful applicant will be required to undergo pre-employment checks which may include fingerprint checks and misconduct screening.
