Operator Backhoe

Are you an experienced Civil Construction Backhoe Operator looking for an opportunity to join a dynamic team? Mackay Regional Council is seeking a skilled individual to join our Paget Depot. If you meet the essential requirements, we want to hear from you!

About the Role:

As a Civil Construction Backhoe Operator, you will be responsible for operating backhoes and other road construction equipment. Your role will involve adhering to safety protocols, performingroutine maintenance on equipment, and collaborating with team members to ensure project success.

Qualifications Required:

Current QLD General Construction Safety White Card
Current QLD Manual Car 'C' Class Open Driver's License
Current QLD Heavy Rigid Truck ‘HR’ Class Licence or willingness to obtain within 12 months
Current Traffic Control Tickets (TCT/TMI) or the ability to obtain
Current certificate of competency to operate road construction plant, in particular, a backhoe.

Base salary $67,054.26 = $1,289.51 p/w + allowances as applicable
Choice of 4 or 5 weeks annual leave with 17.5% leave loading
