Mackay Regional Council is currently seeking an Experienced Multiskilled Operator to join the Civil Operations team based at the Calen Depot.

We are looking for someone who has experience on roads and drainage with extensive experience on different plant machinery.
The successful candidate must hold the relevant Licence/tickets to operate road construction plant and/or equipment with a minimum of 2 from either skid steer loader, roller, loader, backhoe, or grader in order to be considered as this is not an entry level position. Training and development opportunities will be provided to advance current skills.

- Base annual salary from $70,813 plus allowances as applicable

Essential Qualifications, Experience & Skills:
- Current General Construction Safety "White" Card
- Current QLD Heavy Rigid Truck ‘HR’ Class Licence
- Current Traffic Controllers Ticket
- Certificate of Competencies in skid steer loader, roller, loader, backhoe, or grader
- Extensive experience in driving single axle trucks in varying road conditions
- Extensive experience in operating road construction plant e.g. roller, backhoe, loader
- Extensive experience in construction/maintenance of roads and drainage infrastructure
- Certificate III in Civil Construction
