Join Our Team

We are looking for a reliable, motivated and responsible Manager / Full-Time Cook to join our team.

Location: Mount Gravatt East and Dollendella

Key Responsibilities

The responsibilities and accountabilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

* Food preparation, cooking and general kitchen support.

* Frying, grilling and maintaining consistent food quality and presentation.

* Managing and supporting staff during daily operations.

* Taking customer orders and processing payments accurately.

* Operating and managing the POS system and cash register.

* Communicating effectively with customers, team members and kitchen staff.

* Providing exceptional customer service and maximising customer satisfaction.

* Handling customer feedback and resolving complaints promptly and professionally.

* Following all company processes, procedures and operational standards.

* Adhering to food safety, hygiene, workplace health and safety (WHS) requirements.

* Upselling and actively promoting store products, promotions and the business.

* Maintaining accurate and ethical cash-handling practices.

* Completing end-of-day cash register/POS reconciliation and closing procedures.

* Assisting the Owner with new promotions, marketing initiatives, product offers and discount strategies.

* Providing feedback and contributing to the review and improvement of business policies and procedures.

* Training staff and ensuring compliance with internal policies, procedures and operational standards.

* Proactively monitoring stock levels, restocking shelves and maintaining organised storage areas.

* Maintaining a clean, safe and presentable store at all times.

* Ensuring floors, shelves, equipment, displays and other store areas are regularly cleaned and maintained.

* Taking initiative to identify and address operational issues before they become problems.

* Supporting the Owner in achieving business goals, improving efficiency and maintaining high customer service standards.

Experience

* Previous experience in a fast-food, takeaway, restaurant or fish & chips environment is preferred.

* Frying and grill experience is preferred but not essential.

* Previous supervisory or management experience will be highly regarded.
