Step into The Republic Hotel, an iconic four‑level playground in the heart of Sydney's CBD, where history meets high‑energy hospitality. Since 1865, this landmark on Pitt and Bridge Streets has evolved from a humble corner pub into one of the city's most dynamic multi‑space destinations, offering a unique experience on every floor. After a recent renovation across all our spaces, we're on the hunt for a motivated and hands-on Casual Bartender/Allrounder to join our floor team.

This is a great opportunity for a hospitality all-rounder who wants flexible, ongoing shifts (20 to 30 hours a week) in a high-volume, fast-paced environment that values initiative, energy, and personality.

If you thrive behind a busy bar, love working across different spaces, and want to be part of a well-known, always-moving Sydney venue, this is your move.

What You'll Own

Preparing and serving drinks across our bars, including cocktails, beer and wine service
Working across different levels of the venue as needed, from the Public Bar and Sports Bar to Taylors Rooftop and the Bistro
Bringing energy to the floor during busy services, especially through happy hour and weekend peaks
Keeping your section clean, well-stocked and compliant throughout your shift
Delivering friendly, efficient service to a busy and varied crowd
Upholding RSA and responsible service standards at all times

Who You Are

Hold a current NSW RSA competency card (essential)
Previous experience in a bar, pub or high-volume hospitality venue preferred
Comfortable working across multiple sections and adapting to a fast-paced floor
A natural team player with a positive, can-do attitude
Available across a mix of days, nights and weekends, from 20 up to 30 hours a week
Professional, energetic, and passionate about guest experience
