Full Job Description

Job Scope:

handle all deliveries, receives, checks and examines the inventory of stock arriving
keep track of inventory to ensure a steady supply of products to lounges

Job Responsibilities:

Goods inwards duties including unloading of materials, checking product, receipting of goods into the computer system, sorting goods in their allocated areas, allocating and storing product to jobs
Cross reference incoming goods against invoices to ensure no discrepancies
Ensure safe handling, storage and distribution of goods
Transferring and storing items correctly, identifying hazardous, temperature sensitive and urgent deliveries
Operate machines and handling equipment to lift, place and move goods
Resolve stakeholder enquires relating to supply and escalate more complex issues as appropriate
Ensure stock is rotated according to expiry dates and out of date stock is removed from point of use
Count and record the number of items in store during stocktake
Advise supervisor on stock and re-ordering levels
Help keep the work area neat and tidy
Update inventory records.

Job Requirements:

Prior experience working in a supply environment
Strong customer service skills
Operate office equipment and technology (i.e., computers, phones, fax, copier) and data entry skills
Good verbal and written communication skills in English, ability to comprehend and follow direction, good time management skills and being a team player
Strong organisational skills – detail oriented, ability to prioritise and be proactive
Knowledge of safe working practices
Working Start Time: 6.30am
