What you’ll do (but not limited to):

Lead rail access planning, approvals and, including possessions, isolations and SCAS requirements

Develop SCA process and mentor engineering teams in the process application
- Coordinate safe, compliant and efficient delivery of rail corridor works while managing access risks, conflicts and operational constraints

Manage interfaces between Queensland Rail, TMR and third-party stakeholders through integration planning, workshops and proactive issue resolution

Align, construction and operational requirements to support effective project delivery within live rail environments

Build and maintain strong relationships with rail authorities, clients and delivery partners, acting as the key contact for rail-related matters

Maintain interface, approval and works registers

Support project teams through coaching, guidance and capability development in rail integration, SCA application and interface management

Provide trusted advice on rail operations, stakeholder management and interface risk

Demonstrate strong HSEQ leadership, ensuring compliance with legislative, client and organisational requirements while promoting a culture of safety, collaboration and continuous improvement
What you’re good at:
- Significant experience managing rail interfaces, rail access planning or rail operations within major infrastructure projects

Strong understanding of Local Rail Authority processes, standards and corridor access requirements

Experience integrating construction activities within operational rail environments

Exceptional stakeholder engagement, negotiation and influencing skills

Proven ability to manage complex interfaces across multidisciplinary teams

Strong program planning and risk management capabilities

Excellent communication, facilitation and reporting skills

A collaborative leadership style with the ability to build trusted relationships at all levels
