ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
Reporting to the Business Line Manager, you'll take ownership of small to medium capital projects with a T&I focus, working directly with clients to understand their needs and drive practical, cost-effective solutions from concept through to execution.
You'll manage end to end multi-disciplinary scopes, including contract management, integrated scheduling, and cost control, while leading engineering teams through detailed design on lift rigging, handling aids, lift sequence workpacks, and offshore installation methodology.
The role includes adhoc offshore site time supervising personnel and coordinating subcontractors as part of an integrated delivery team. You'll be the focal point for resolving technical and commercial issues as they arise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage small to medium capital projects end to end — concept, FEED, detailed design, and execute phases — with a T&I focus
- Lead the coordination of lift rigging, handling aids, and lift sequence workpack production across project teams
- Own end-to-end contract management, integrated scheduling, and cost control on multi-disciplinary brownfields projects
- Manage subcontractors delivering specialist T&I and installation services as part of an integrated project team
- Lead multi-discipline engineering teams through detailed design, acting as focal point for technical and commercial issue resolution
- Work directly with clients to understand requirements and drive cost-effective, fit-for-purpose solutions
- Profile project risk and implement mitigation strategies to ensure safe project delivery
- Supervise personnel during offshore site phases, including installation and T&I execution
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
About You
Your experience spans across engineering, offshore transport & installation, project management and client management.
Essential:
- Tertiary qualification in engineering, with 10+ years' experience in the oil and gas industry spanning engineering, T&I, project management, and client management.
- Demonstrated experience managing multi-disciplinary brownfields projects, including contract management, integrated scheduling, and cost control.
- Proven track record delivering small to medium projects against schedule, cost, and quality KPIs, with a focus on low-cost, fit-for-purpose alternatives.
- Working expertise in lift rigging, handling aids, lift sequence workpacks, and offshore transport & installation methods.
- Demonstrated offshore site experience supervising personnel.
- Experience managing subcontractors as part of an integrated project delivery team.
- Astute project risk profiling ability and experience implementing risk mitigation strategies.
