About Optweb Digital

Optweb Digital is a fast-growing Australian digital marketing firm and a Global Search Awards 2026 Finalist, helping businesses grow through SEO, Google Ads, Meta Ads, websites, and digital strategy.

We are looking for a highly organised, proactive, and people-focused HR Administrator to support our growing team. This role is responsible for assisting with recruitment, employee onboarding, HR administration, maintaining employee records, coordinating internal processes, and ensuring a positive employee experience across the business.

About the Role

This is a varied role combining Human Resources and Office Administration. You'll work closely with the Directors to ensure smooth business operations while creating a positive and professional workplace environment.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate recruitment, interviews, and candidate communication.
Prepare employment contracts, onboarding, and offboarding documentation.
Maintain employee records, HR documentation, and personnel files.
Coordinate probation periods, performance reviews, and employee development activities.
Monitor annual leave, personal leave, attendance, and other HR records.
Support employee engagement initiatives and company events.
Ensure compliance with Fair Work legislation and company policies.
Assist with HR administration, reporting, and continuous process improvements.
Manage general office administration and day-to-day operations.
Coordinate meetings, schedules, travel arrangements, and company correspondence.
Maintain company records, compliance documentation, and office supplies.
Provide administrative support to the Directors and leadership team.

What We're Looking For

Previous experience in Human Resources, Administration, or Office Management.
Excellent organisational, time management, and multitasking skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
High attention to detail with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
A proactive, professional, and positive attitude.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams).
Experience with HR systems or payroll software is an advantage.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
