Full Job Description

Fun Day Out is a busy booking agency connecting schools, OSHC and vacation care services with exciting activities and entertainment, across the east coast of Australia.

We are looking for an experienced, organised and proactive Administration & Customer Service Coordinator to join our team in a full-time, work-from-home position.

This role would suit someone who genuinely enjoys being organised, communicating with people and getting things done. You'll be dealing with both our clients and activity providers, so you'll need to be confident on the phone and email, comfortable juggling multiple priorities and able to follow tasks from start to finish.

What you'll be doing

Your day will include a mix of customer service, booking administration and provider coordination, including:

Responding to customer enquiries by phone and email
Assisting with activity information and booking enquiries
Processing bookings accurately in our CRM system
Liaising with activity providers
General administration and data entry
Assisting the team during our busy school holiday periods
Helping resolve the everyday changes and issues that naturally arise when coordinating events and activities

Working From Home

While you'll be working remotely, this is a full-time position with regular working hours and requires the same reliability, availability and commitment as an office-based position.

You'll need a dedicated and professional home office environment, reliable internet connection and the ability to work without interruptions during your agreed working hours.

Our team also gets together in person approximately once per quarter, so you'll need to be based in Sydney and available to attend these team catchups.

About you

We're looking for an experienced administrator with a naturally positive and friendly disposition, strong work ethic and genuine customer-service mindset.

You'll ideally be someone who:

Has strong administration and customer service experience
Communicates warmly, confidently and professionally by phone and email
Has excellent written English, spelling and grammar
Is reliable, consistent and takes their work commitments seriously
Is highly organised with excellent attention to detail
Can prioritise and comfortably manage multiple tasks at once
Takes ownership of tasks and follows them through
Uses initiative and common sense to solve everyday problems
Remains calm, professional and solutions-focused under pressure
Enjoys a fast-paced environment where priorities can change throughout the day
Can work independently while still being an active part of a small team
Can think on their feet and quickly learn new systems and processes
Has a good working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and Teams

The person we're looking for

We're a small team, so finding the right personality and attitude is really important to us.

Fun Day Out is exactly that – fun! We want that to come through in the way we communicate with our clients. We're looking for someone with a naturally warm, upbeat personality who enjoys helping people and brings friendly, positive energy to their phone calls, emails and interactions with the team.

We're also a busy business and there are times when the pace can be very fast. Plans change, bookings move, providers need chasing, clients need answers.

You'll need to be able to keep your cool when things get hectic, communicate professionally and focus on finding a solution.

We're a supportive team and enjoy having a laugh together, but we also work hard and rely on each other. We value people who communicate openly, pitch in when things get busy and contribute positively to the team around them.

Pay: $40.00 – $45.00 per hour
