About the role:
Join our General Liability team in a varied and fast-paced Legal Secretary role, supporting a Partner and team of lawyers while working closely alongside a Senior Administrator. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to further develop their legal support career within a collaborative environment where you'll have the chance to learn, contribute and grow.
In this role, you'll:
- Partner with a Senior Administrator to support the day-to-day operations of a busy litigation practice.
- Prepare, format and manage a range of legal documents and correspondence.
- Assist with billing, invoice preparation, financial administration and client reporting requirements.
- Coordinate diaries, meetings, travel arrangements and key matter deadlines.
- Support court processes, including document preparation, filings and matter administration.
- Maintain accurate client and matter information across legal systems.
- Liaise with lawyers, clients, barristers, experts and other stakeholders.
- Contribute to the smooth running of the practice through proactive administrative support.
What you bring
- Previous experience as a Legal Secretary, Legal Assistant or similar legal support professional.
- Experience within litigation is highly regarded.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- A proactive mindset and willingness to take ownership of your work.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Strong communication skills and confidence building relationships with stakeholders.
- Familiarity with legal billing processes and practice management systems.
