Drive Financial Excellence Across a Growing Group of Companies
We are seeking a highly capable and commercially minded Finance Manager to join our expanding group of businesses. Reporting directly to senior leadership, you will take ownership of the transactional day to day finance function, while playing a key role in enhancing business performance, leveraging technology and supporting growth across multiple entities.
This is not a traditional accounting position. Ideally you are an up and coming, energetic CA or CPA (or working towards), ready to be hands on in all facets of our finance function ($10m turnover) and ambitious to take us to the next level. You will improve financial controls and divisional financial accuracy, and work closely with management to identify opportunities to develop systems, processes, stock management and online sales performance. The ideal candidate moves comfortably between transactional level involvement, business data analysis, insightful reporting and driving process innovation through technology and AI enabled solutions.
Financial Management & Reporting

Direct involvement in day to day accounting operations across the group, including data entry, accounts payable, receivable, stock, payroll, bank reconciliations and working capital management.

Prepare monthly management accounts, financial reports and performance analysis.

Coordinate year end financial statements and liaise with external advisors as required.

Ensure timely adherence to mandatory compliance and regulatory requirements.
Business Analysis & Strategic Support

Provide financial insights and recommendations to support business decisions, including profitability, margins, inventory performance and operational efficiency.

Develop reporting dashboards and KPI frameworks for management.

Support budgeting, forecasting and business planning activities.
Systems, Technology & Process Improvement

Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and improve financial workflows with an internal control mindset.

Evaluate and implement AI driven solutions to enhance efficiency and reporting accuracy.

Integrate accounting systems with front end operational and sales platforms.

Improve inventory and stock management through data analysis, enhanced controls and system enhancements.

Partner with retail, online shopfronts and field technicians to streamline business processes and support growth initiatives.
Ecommerce & Growth Support

Analyse online sales performance, customer trends and inventory turnover to improve sales conversion and customer profitability.

Develop reporting and systems that support increased online revenue.

You are a proactive, self motivated professional who combines solid technical accounting skills with commercial awareness and a genuine interest in business improvement and technology to automate the accounting of routine transactions.
The ideal candidate will bring:

Degree qualification in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline, with CPA or CA designation.

Proven experience in finance functions.

Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with advanced Excel or Google Sheets capability.

Experience with ERP, inventory management, ecommerce or integrated business systems.
