Key Responsibilities

Support and inspire the restaurant team to deliver an elevated food and beverage experience across service periods.
Take direction from the Venue Manager, maintaining a proactive approach at all times
Support and inspire the restaurant team to deliver an elevated food and beverage experience across service periods.
Assist in overseeing and coordinating operational activities within the department, maintaining established service standards.
Maintain staff morale and team cohesion through positive, productive leadership, and actively seek ways to develop and retain team members.
Ensure clear and comprehensive shift handovers occur
Maintain accurate statistical records and reporting, and control departmental expenses within set targets
Cultivate a sales culture, implementing and tracking up-selling and on-selling strategies
Ensure full compliance with licensing laws, RSA requirements, and health & safety standards
Uphold QT and Parlour's grooming, presentation, and service-style standards
Actively participate in team briefings, training sessions, and operational meetings

What You’ll Bring

2+ years' experience in an Assistant Restaurant Manager role or similar within high-volume, premium hospitality venues (hotel experience a plus, not essential).
Proven ability to deliver a high-level guest experience that exceeds expectations for VIP clientele and hotel guests.
Experience assisting in the management of medium-sized restaurant teams, with a focus on developing and training staff.
A passion for wine and beverage, with the confidence to lead tastings, pairings, and guest-facing storytelling.
Understanding of budget management, cost control, and P&L analysis to support data-driven decision-making.
A creative, team-first attitude and commitment to excellence in a fast-paced, design-driven environment.
