Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Recruit, train, motivate, and coach your crew to deliver exceptional customer service.
- Operations Management: Oversee daily operations, maintain high service standards, and ensure smooth processes.
- Scheduling & Planning: Create rosters, assign duties, and ensure coverage during busy periods.
- Inventory Control: Manage stock levels, ordering, and rotation to minimize waste and maximize efficiency.
- Financial Management: Monitor food costs, control expenses, and achieve budget targets.
- Compliance: Perform opening and closing duties, ensure safety standards, and act as the first aid officer when needed.
- Collaboration: Be an integral part of the Virgin Active club leadership team.
Qualifications
Were looking for someone who:
- Has at least 1 year of experience in cafe or restaurant management.
- Can work flexible hours and adapt to a dynamic environment.
- Loves creating memorable customer experiences and ensuring a safe, clean space for all.
- Is a people personwarm, genuine, and dedicated to mentoring others.
- Has strong communication skills and can confidently interact at all levels.
- Is driven, proactive, and a natural problem-solver.
- Understands budgets and the impact of operational decisions.
- Can obtain a Working with Childrens Check (if required).
