ABOUT THE ROLE
As Marketing Manager at Hyde Perth, you’ll be the brand storyteller, culture maker and creative force behind one of Perth’s most exciting lifestyle destinations.
You’ll lead the development and delivery of a bold, distinctive marketing strategy that builds awareness, drives engagement and creates loyalty, bringing the unique spirit of Hyde to life across every touchpoint.
This is a role for someone who is equal parts strategic thinker and creative doer. Someone who understands the power of great brands, knows how to turn ideas into experiences and loves finding fresh and unexpected ways to connect with audiences.
You’ll work closely with our commercial and operational teams to turn big ideas into campaigns that deliver, from driving hotel occupancy and F&B performance to building Hyde’s reputation as a destination for locals, travellers and the culturally curious.
WHAT YOU’LL DO

Lead the development and execution of Hyde Perth’s annual marketing strategy, aligned with brand, commercial and business objectives.

Build brand awareness for Hyde and FARRA and engagement across owned, earned and paid channels, including digital, social, PR, partnerships and activations.

Develop integrated campaigns that support hotel occupancy, F&B performance and broader commercial goals.

Build and nurture relationships with media, influencers, local creatives, cultural partners and tastemakers to position Hyde & FARRA as a must visit destination in Perth.

Lead content creation across key channels, ensuring every piece of communication feels unmistakably Hyde, relevant, engaging and creatively strong.

Own Hyde Perth’s digital presence, including website, social media, SEO/SEM and CRM and email marketing.

Develop and manage the annual marketing budget, measuring performance, effectiveness and ROI across key initiatives.

Stay close to cultural, consumer and market trends, identifying opportunities to keep Hyde fresh, relevant and ahead of the curve.

Bring the brand to life through events, partnerships, activations and experiences that create genuine connection and conversation.

Represent Hyde within Perth’s hospitality, creative and cultural communities, building relationships and generating buzz around the brand.

Ensure all marketing activity is delivered in line with brand standards, business requirements and relevant compliance regulations.
Qualifications

You’re an experienced marketer who knows how to build brands, create buzz and make things happen.

You bring a strong understanding of the Australian market, a genuine passion for hospitality and lifestyle, and a network that reaches into Perth’s media, creative, cultural and social scenes.

You’re equally comfortable talking strategy, reviewing performance data, developing a campaign concept or getting stuck into the detail to make an idea happen.

You’ll bring:

3+ years’ marketing experience, ideally within hospitality, lifestyle, entertainment, fashion, retail or a similarly brand led environment.

A strong understanding of the Australian market and a genuine connection to Perth’s creative, media and cultural landscape.

A proven ability to develop marketing campaigns that balance commercial results with creativity, culture and storytelling.
-
Strong digital and social expertise, with a natural curiosity for emerging platforms, trends, technologies and new ways of connecting with audiences.

Experience launching or repositioning a brand, venue or destination is highly regarded, with hotel opening experience an added bonus.

The ability to work collaboratively across Sales, Revenue, Operations, F&B and other teams, turning ambitious ideas into clear, actionable plans.

A hands on, entrepreneurial approach. You’re resourceful, solutions focused and know how to create impact regardless of the size of the budget.

A collaborative mindset and low ego approach. You’re curious, generous with ideas and genuinely enjoy bringing people along for the ride.
