Wizard Solutions are currently looking for a trainee/apprentice in the field of security/communications to join our company. Wizard Solutions is a Perth WA based company specialising in electronic Access Control & Intruder Alarm systems, IP CCTV, Data / Communications / Nurse Call. From new installations, faults, repairs to general maintenance everyday is a new challenge.
Duties may involve:
- Installing the cables & conduits within ceilings, walls sometimes underground between buildings. You may need to work at height on ladders or in a scissor/boom lift (EWP)
- Using drills, measuring, cutting, terminating & testing the cables
- Installing different equipment: CCTV camera, electronic card reader, infra red detector, electronic door strike plus much more
- Training in connecting laptop to equipment, assigning IP addresses, programming equipment & using different software/hardware.
The successful candidate requirements:
- Genuine interest in electronics & Information Technology.
- High mathematical aptitude.
- Physically fit and capable.
- Reliable and hard-working.
- Be safety conscious.
