At David Jones, we are seeking a highly experienced, resilient and agile Executive Assistant to provide high-level support to two of our C-suite Executives.

This is a high-impact role suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is confident balancing competing priorities across multiple executive portfolios. You will be energised by variety, comfortable navigating ambiguity and capable of maintaining a calm, solutions-focused approach when priorities shift.

As a trusted partner to senior leaders, you will play a key role in enabling effective executive operations, managing complex diaries, coordinating priorities and representing our Executives with professionalism and discretion. Just as importantly, you will be part of a highly collaborative Executive Assistant team, working closely with other EAs to ensure strong alignment, seamless communication and consistent support across the Executive Leadership Team.

This is an exciting opportunity for an accomplished EA who enjoys operating as part of a connected and supportive team, while also confidently partnering with senior leaders during a significant period of change within an iconic Australian business.

What does the role involve?

As Executive Assistant, you will:

Partner closely with two C-suite Executives to provide high-level, efficient and effective support
Manage complex and frequently changing diaries across multiple executive portfolios
Work collaboratively with the broader Executive Assistant team to coordinate priorities, share information and support consistent ways of working across the Executive Leadership Team
Build strong partnerships with other EAs to ensure alignment across diaries, meetings, events, communications and key business rhythms
Coordinate meetings, strategy sessions and presentations, including preparing materials and taking minutes
Act as a professional representative of the Executives with external brand partners, agencies and corporate stakeholders
Provide administrative support to broader teams, including communications, events and team engagement activities
Arrange domestic and international travel itineraries and manage related expenses
Coordinate internal events and functions, including venue bookings, catering and logistics
Build strong relationships with internal leaders, Executive Assistants and key stakeholders across the business
Manage confidential and sensitive information with complete discretion
Remain agile and responsive as priorities shift across the portfolios you support

What are we looking for?

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

Proven experience supporting two Executives at C-suite or senior leadership level
The ability to work confidently across multiple portfolios and adapt quickly to changing priorities
Strong experience managing complex diaries, competing deadlines and senior stakeholder needs
A highly collaborative approach, with the ability to partner effectively with other Executive Assistants and contribute to a connected EA team
Outstanding organisational and multitasking skills, with a calm and composed approach
A polished and professional communication style, including experience representing senior leaders externally
A high level of discretion and sound judgement when managing confidential information
Advanced skills across Microsoft Office 365 applications, including SharePoint and OneDrive
Strong stakeholder engagement skills across internal teams and external partners
Experience within retail, agency or large corporate environments will be highly regarded
