About the opportunity

We're looking for a Solution Architect to join us on a 12-month Fixed Term Contract in our Enterprise Services team. You'll play a key role in shaping the future of Australia Post's digital Customer Experience as part of our Application Transformation Program.

Reporting to the Principal Architect, you'll partner with business leaders, engineering teams and strategic vendors to design the architecture and roadmap behind the Australia Post app, website and customer-facing digital experiences. You'll help ensure technology investments deliver better customer outcomes, align to enterprise strategy, and create scalable, secure and reusable solutions that support millions of Australians every day.

You’ll also

Define and deliver architecture roadmaps for customer-facing digital platforms, including mobile app, web and digital engagement experiences.
Provide architectural leadership across a major transformation program, balancing business priorities, customer needs, technical requirements and commercial outcomes.
Partner with vendors, engineers, security teams and business stakeholders to evaluate solutions, manage risks and ensure successful delivery.
Drive innovation by exploring emerging technologies, including AI-enabled customer experiences, while ensuring solutions are secure, scalable and aligned to enterprise standards.

About you

You are a strategic and commercially minded architect who thrives in complex environments and enjoys bringing people together to solve challenging business problems. Comfortable operating at both executive and technical levels, you're able to translate complex concepts into clear outcomes, influence diverse stakeholders and drive alignment across large-scale transformation initiatives. You're passionate about customer experience and excited by the opportunity to shape the future of digital services at one of Australia's most recognised brands.
You’ll also need

Extensive experience as a Solutions Architect within a large enterprise environment, ideally supporting major digital or customer experience transformations.
Strong expertise across mobile applications, web platforms, APIs, cloud technologies, integration architecture and security practices.
Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders, lead architectural decision-making and work effectively across business, technology and vendor teams.
