Your Role
The Senior Business Analyst will play a key role in the Reimagine Program, which has a mission to deliver new and improved automation and AI platforms that provide more value for Flybuys members and partners when it comes to points collection and personalisation of offers and campaigns.
The role will be one of the first at Flybuys to use AI tools in specifying requirements and solution designs, focusing on the development of a body of knowledge that allows for context engineering by agents.
Key accountabilities:
-
Collate, develop and maintain a comprehensive knowledge base that covers the breadth of the offers and campaigns ecosystem, including both as-is and future state focus, through workshops, stakeholder discussions, and using Copilot to trawl existing knowledge repositories.
-
Collaborate with business and product team members to determine priorities for the program.
- Collaborate with enterprise architects to ensure the future state view of the offers ecosystem is grounded in key user and system needs that solve current problems.
-
Collaborate with the Reimagine team in experimenting with proof of concepts and other tools to prove out whether ideas should be persevered with or to pivot to something else.
-
Develop visual aids and other artefacts to assist the business and product team members in developing business cases for funding Program initiatives.
-
Work with AI tools to develop detailed requirements, user stories and associated test cases in collaboration with the engineering team and manage the review and approval process with business stakeholders.
-
Support the delivery team through the end-to-end development cycle, ensuring what is being built meets the needs identified.
-
Drive the inception process, ensuring prioritised initiatives are understood by the team and ready for the delivery pipe.
-
Facilitate any backlog grooming or planning required within the squad and work with the Program Manager to ensure progress is tracked and communicated.
-
Collaborate with engineering, design and product team members to thoroughly test built functionality inline with the Flybuys quality assurance standards.
-
Assist the Program Manager with dependencies management outside of the team, e.g. deliverables from other teams or external vendors.
-
Assist the Program Manager in identifying and mitigating issues and risks throughout delivery.
-
Work with the relevant teams to determine how to operationalise the changes being delivered by the initiative and work with them to develop change plans.
-
Work with the Program Manager and other responsible teams to ensure the change plan is delivered and the new or improved platform is in the hands of those who will own it moving forward.
-
Keep track of the success of the change implementation, ensuring any gaps are filled and lessons learned are rolled into the next plan.
