Full Job Description

Your new role:
As a Senior Pharmacist, you'll provide advanced pharmacy services while supporting service development, education and continuous improvement. Working collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams, you will:

Deliver high-quality, evidence-based pharmacy services.
Provide expert clinical advice and support to multidisciplinary teams.
Contribute to service development, quality improvement and research activities.
Support safe, effective and patient-centred medication management.
Supervise, mentor and develop pharmacists, students and support staff.
Build strong partnerships with clinicians and key stakeholders to enhance patient care.

About you:
You are an experienced pharmacist with a passion for clinical research and delivering exceptional patient care. You thrive in a collaborative environment and bring:

Registration as a Pharmacist with AHPRA and a Bachelor of Pharmacy (or equivalent).
Demonstrated experience delivering advanced clinical pharmacy services, ideally within Clinical Trials.
Strong knowledge of clinical trial regulations, investigational medicines and evidence-based practice.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to engage confidently with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders.
Proven ability to manage complex clinical workloads while exercising sound clinical judgement and prioritisation skills.
Experience leading quality improvement initiatives and contributing to service development.
A commitment to mentoring, supervising and developing less experienced clinicians and students.
A collaborative, patient-focused approach aligned with Metro South Health's values of integrity, compassion, accountability, respect, engagement and excellence.
