Pedal Mafia is a premium Australian cycling apparel brand founded in Perth in 2014 by Jay Barron, known for its modern, non-traditional aesthetic and high-quality jerseys, bibs, and accessories. We're highly recognizable for our unique aesthetic and collaborations with major motorsport brands like Oracle Red Bull Racing and Aston Martin F1, and we bring that same energy to our flagship stores and the cycling community we serve.
We're looking for a Store Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our Perth retail store while creating an exceptional customer experience that reflects our premium brand and passion for cycling. As the leader of our flagship Perth location, you'll spend the majority of your time on the shop floor—coaching your team, engaging customers, driving commercial performance, and ensuring the store consistently delivers an outstanding retail experience.

Ensure operational excellence across merchandising, inventory management, visual presentation, and store standards

Build meaningful relationships within the local cycling community through events, partnerships, and brand activations

Create weekly staff schedules based on business needs and labor budgets

Plan, support, and execute in-store events, group rides, product launches, and community activations

Manage the store's Instagram account, creating regular content showcasing new products, events, rides, and community involvement

Protect company assets and ensure compliance with company policies, Work Health and Safety requirements, and applicable Australian employment legislation
You're a hands-on retail leader who understands that great store performance comes from great people and great customer experiences.
You bring:
- 3–5 years' retail leadership experience, including people management

Previous experience within premium apparel, sporting goods, or specialty retail

Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams

Strong commercial acumen with experience managing KPIs and sales performance

Experience with inventory management and visual merchandising

Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Experience using retail POS systems, Microsoft Office, and Apple platforms

Availability to work weekends, public holidays, and occasional evening community events

This isn't a behind-the-counter-only management position.
You'll be the face of Pedal Mafia in Perth—setting the standard for customer service, product knowledge, operational excellence, and team culture, while helping grow our presence within the Western Australian cycling community through group rides, in-store events, and local activations. You'll own the store's performance and culture while connecting with riders who love the brand as much as you do.

Location: Perth, Western Australia Physical Requirements: Ability to stand and move throughout the retail environment for extended periods; lift and carry merchandise up to 15 kg; safely use ladders and perform merchandising activities; bend, reach, kneel, and undertake general retail duties. Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including weekends, public holidays, and special events.
