We’re seeking a Graphic Designer-Menswear to join our Design team-someone who understands how to balance elevated design with real-world performance across high-volume retail.
This is a critical role in delivering graphic product across multiple menswear categories, ensuring consistency in execution, alignment to brand direction, and delivery against commercial objectives. You will play an essential part in maintaining design quality, continuity and pace across the business.
What will you do?
At Target, you’ll design with intent where every decision connects creativity with customer relevance and business performance. You’ll be part of a team that values clarity, consistency and impact, working at scale to deliver product that performs.
You will partner closely with Design, Buying and Trend teams to create commercially relevant, brand-aligned graphics that elevate the Target menswear offer.
Creative Direction & Trend Application
Interpret global and local trends into refined, wearable graphics for menswear
Translate trend insights into clear seasonal direction aligned with Target’s brand identity
Maintain a strong point of view across typography, placement, and graphic styling
Design & Development
Create placement prints, yardage and graphic assets with a clean, considered aesthetic
Ensure all designs are commercially viable and scalable across ranges
Apply strong understanding of fabrication, print techniques and production requirements
Ensure all work meets IP and compliance standards
Range Execution & Delivery
Design across multiple product categories to build cohesive, elevated ranges
Deliver to critical path timelines while managing multiple concurrent workstreams
Partner with offshore teams and suppliers to ensure accurate execution at scale
Maintain consistency in design quality across all touchpoints
Stakeholder Engagement
Collaborate cross-functionally to align design with customer, brand and financial goals
Present concepts with clarity and confidence to key stakeholders
Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement, feedback and creative excellence
What are we looking for?
We are looking for a designer who brings both creative integrity and commercial discipline someone who thrives in a fast-moving, high-volume environment.
Experience & Expertise
5+ years’ experience in apparel graphic design, ideally within menswear or lifestyle brands
Tertiary qualification in Graphic Design, Fashion or Textile Design
Advanced capability in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
Proven experience delivering commercial product in a large-scale retail environment
Capability & Mindset
Strong understanding of customer behaviour and market positioning
Ability to translate trends into commercially successful outcomes
High attention to detail with deep knowledge of print execution and production
Confident managing multiple deadlines and competing priorities
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
Resilient, adaptable and comfortable operating at pace
