Salary: $72,000 - $82,000pa + Superannuation

Company Bonus Scheme: Discretionary company bonus of up to $3000 per annum

Location: Different schools every day spread across Sydney and Central Coast

About Us

Rocksteady Music School is a leading global provider of in-school rock and pop band lessons. Operating in over 4500 schools and teaching over 125,000 children worldwide, we’ve now launched in NSW and looking to build a team locally to deliver our award-winning lessons.

Our model is designed to do more than teach instrumental skills. Through weekly band lessons, we help students build confidence, resilience, teamwork, and wellbeing. Join us as a band leader and your passion will inspire the next generation.

About the role

As a School Performance Representative, you’ll be the face and voice of our music program, bringing live music to the life of primary-aged kids across the country. You’ll be engaging young audiences, creating unforgettable first experiences of live performance, and sparking a lifelong love of music. Every day you’ll step into the shoes of a person who first inspired you to pick up an instrument.

We are looking for someone who enjoys engaging with kids, who is great on the stage, passionate about music, and wants to make a genuine impact. You'll be the friendly face that inspires the next generation of pop and rock artists.

What You'll Be Doing

Deliver music assemblies and workshops in primary schools across Sydney
Excite and inspire primary-aged kids to want to learn an instrument in a rock and pop band
Perform daily in front of the most energised and captivating audience in the world - Children
Build genuine relationships with principals, music coordinators, and teachers to introduce our program and secure school participation.
Confidently represent our music education offering, communicating its value in a friendly, consultative way (no high-pressure selling).
Ensure a smooth experience for new schools starting our lessons
This role will require you to travel to different schools across the whole of Sydney every day

What You'll Bring

Multi-instrumental skills on at least two of the following: drums, guitar, bass, keyboard and vocals
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with both children and adults
A dynamic, confident and approachable personality
A passion for performing and public speaking
A personable, people-focused attitude
Sales experience is preferred, but not essential (training provided)
The ability to work independently
A full Australian drivers license and your own vehicle
A willingnness to travel to inspire kids across NSW

Benefits

Full-time permanent position, 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday, daytime only
11+ weeks paid holiday per year
