We are seeking a dedicated and responsible individual to join our team as a Ranger. This role involves a diverse range of duties, including parking regulation and enforcement companion animal and on occasion, stock control, and general area patrols. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and enjoyable environment for our community.

The Opportunity
Reporting to the Senior Ranger, you will collaborate with a passionate group responsible for supporting Council to ensure our community adheres to a variety of regulations.
The ideal candidate will have Diploma of Government (Investigation), Certificate IV Local Government (Regulatory Services) or equivalent qualifications and/or demonstrated experience in a similar regulatory role including animal control and management, specialised and regulatory industry practices, and court proceedings, investigation, report writing, and relevant legislation. Applicants with equivalent, relevant experience will be considered.
To succeed in the role, you will have demonstrated commitment to a customer service culture and the delivery of quality services, demonstrated skills in negotiation, problem solving and conflict resolution and a proven ability to communicate positively to customers, stakeholders, community groups and partner organisations.

Annual salary of $64,602.72 to $74,618.31 (plus super).
