Details: We are seeking an experienced and motivated Facilities Manager to oversee the maintenance, operation, and management of ACT sportsground facilities. This hands-on role is responsible for ensuring sportsground infrastructure, including pavilions, light towers, synthetic cricket pitches, and cricket nets, is maintained to a high standard and remains safe, functional, and fit for community use.
The Facilities Manager will work closely with contractors, sporting organisations, and internal stakeholders to coordinate repairs, manage maintenance programs, and oversee the Sportsground Ranger team and roster management. The position also plays a key role in contract management, asset monitoring, budgeting, and ensuring compliance with Work Health and Safety requirements.
Eligibility/Other Requirements:
- Driver’s licence C Class is essential.

White Card, Asbestos Awareness and Silica.

Certificate in a Building trade, Turf maintenance or horticulture and or demonstrated experience in these areas.
Note: This is a temporary position available immediately for up to 12 months.
An order of merit will be established from this selection process and may be used to fill future identical vacancies over the next 12 months.
