HC Truck Driver – Local Demolition Work (Adelaide)

Old Red Brick Co is a well-established demolition company, and we’re on the hunt for an experienced HC driver who’s confident working in tight city and suburban sites.
If you can handle reversing into tricky driveways, driving in the busy city streets as well as small quiet suburban streets, and are happy to hop out of the cab to help get the job done, you’ll fit right in with our crew.
Hours: Monday to Friday with the odd Saturday here and there, usually 6:30am – 4:00pm (some days run longer depending on the job)
Type: Full-time with Annual Leave and Sick Leave, local work
About the Role
You’ll be moving loads between demolition sites, depots, and recycling facilities around Adelaide. The work is local, hands-on, and varied. Our sites can be tight, access can be tricky, and you’ll need to be confident reversing in busy or confined areas. From time to time, you’ll also jump out of the truck to help hold the hose and wet down the demolition waste while being loaded.
Key Responsibilities:
· Safe and professional operation of HC trucks
· Confident use of Road Ranger gearboxes
· Reversing into tight city and suburban sites
· Loading, tipping, and securing loads
· Occasionally assisting on-site (e.g. holding hose to wet loads)
· Working closely with site crews and management
· Following job schedules and site instructions
You’ll Need:
· Current HC licence (minimum)
· Minimum 3 years’ truck driving experience
· Unrestricted Work Rights in Australia
· White Card - or willingness to obtain one.
· Confident with city and suburban driving
· Comfortable working around demolition sites
· Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused
