About the role
As an Application Support Analyst - HR Systems, you will play a key role in supporting and enhancing the Corporation's HR technology portfolio. This role combines application support, continuous improvement and business analysis activities, providing an opportunity to develop broader systems expertise while contributing to the reliability, optimisation and future direction of our HR platforms.
Working closely with business stakeholders, service providers and project teams, you will investigate issues, gather requirements, coordinate system changes and help deliver solutions that improve business outcomes and employee experience. There are multiple opportunities available, both permanent and fixed term roles.
What the role will involve:
Application Support & Continuous Improvement

Provide ongoing support for HR systems, ensuring applications remain reliable, secure and fit for business needs.

Investigate and resolve incidents, identify root causes, and drive continuous improvement opportunities.

Monitor system performance and support the implementation of enhancements and upgrades.
-
Contribute to application lifecycle management, including security, access and compliance activities.
Analysis & Solution Delivery
-
Partner with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into practical system solutions.

Support the delivery of system enhancements through analysis, testing, implementation and business readiness activities.

Contribute to change, release and deployment activities, ensuring risks are identified and managed.

Work with vendors and service providers to deliver quality outcomes aligned with business priorities.
Stakeholder Engagement & Knowledge Sharing

Build strong relationships with business users, project teams and service providers.
-
Provide advice and guidance on system capabilities, processes and best practice usage.
-
Maintain documentation, support knowledge sharing and contribute to user learning resources.

Participate in continuous improvement initiatives that enhance employee and business experience.
Key skills and experience:
-
Experience supporting and enhancing enterprise HR systems, ideally SAP SuccessFactors.
-
Experience gathering and analysing business requirements, reviewing solution designs and supporting delivery through the software development lifecycle.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate issues, identify root causes and recommend practical solutions.

Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work effectively across business and technical teams.

Knowledge of incident, problem, change and release management processes.
-
Experience supporting testing, implementation and continuous improvement activities.
-
Experience working with cloud-based platforms, particularly within an AWS environment.

Experience working within Agile delivery frameworks, including SAFe Agile, and knowledge of ITIL service management practices.

Relevant qualifications in Information Technology, Business Systems or a related discipline

ITIL 4 Foundation certification will be highly regarded (BA Foundation certified is desirable)
