The position
We're seeking a Senior Business Analyst to deliver high-quality financial and operational insights that drive performance across our diverse portfolio. In this role, you will partner closely with operational, finance, and commercial leaders to translate complex data into actionable insights, enabling informed decisions and influencing business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver accurate financial and operational analysis to drive site performance and identify trends, risks, and opportunities
- Analyse key cost drivers (labour, food, operations) to support efficiency and cost optimisation
- Support planning, budgeting, forecasting, and month-end reporting, including variance analysis and performance insights
- Partner with operational leaders and cross-functional teams to translate data into clear, actionable insights
- Act as a trusted advisor on financial implications, business cases, pricing, and investment decisions
- Develop and track KPI frameworks to monitor performance and drive continuous improvement
- Identify performance gaps, implement reporting and process improvements, and evaluate outcomes for ongoing optimisation
About You
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- 5+ years’ experience in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Proven experience in a business partnering role, influencing stakeholders at all levels
- Strong analytical capability with the ability to translate data into commercial insights
- Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills
- Ability to communicate complex information clearly to both financial and non-financial stakeholders at all levels
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
Desirable
- Experience in operational, site-based, or multi-site environments
- Knowledge of cost drivers within hospitality, mining, or services sectors
- Experience using ERP systems and/or BI tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau)
