About the role

In this exciting role you will be responsible for managing and growing relationships with an exciting portfolio of existing and new customers in the Foodservice and QSR industry. This role requires a proactive and strategic approach to customer management, ensuring customer satisfaction and driving business growth. By fostering cross-functional relationships with customers, and achieve annual budgeted revenue, volume & profitability targets. You will have the customers needs front of mind with the aptitude of increasing visibility of Kerry among customers and within the market by making Kerry the top-of-mind Taste & Nutrition partner.

Work location: Bella Vista, Sydney, NSW
Reporting to: Commercial Director – Foodservice

Key responsibilities

Build Strong Customer Relationships: Develop a strong strategic relationship within customers’ organisation including Food Development, Purchasing, Supply Chain, QA / Nutrition and foster counterpart relationships within Kerry
Focus on Sales Growth: Identify and deliver new business opportunities through custom product and integrated solution selling that is aligned with our strategic pillars to deliver sustainable and profitable growth.
Product and Capability Understanding: Continuously deepen knowledge on Kerry technologies and capabilities with the mindset to unlock new opportunities and potential with existing and new customers.
Kerry Organisational Know-how: Strong project management, stakeholder management and commercial acumen to ensure the smooth execution of projects, managing the pipeline proactively and defending existing business across functions and business units.
Strategic Account Development: Develop and execute customer growth plans by identifying whitespace opportunities, expanding product penetration, and strengthening strategic partnerships.
Market and Customer Insights: Leverage customer feedback, market intelligence, and industry trends to anticipate customer needs and proactively position Kerry solutions.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner effectively with R&D, Marketing, Operations, Regulatory, and Supply Chain teams to deliver seamless customer solutions and accelerate business results.
Value-Based Selling: Articulate Kerry’s value proposition clearly by demonstrating how our solutions solve customer challenges, create differentiation, and deliver measurable business outcomes.
Customer Retention and Satisfaction: Drive high levels of customer satisfaction through responsiveness, solution-oriented engagement, and consistent delivery on commitments, ensuring long-term business sustainability.

Qualifications and skills

Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 5 years of sales and/or account management experience within the Food & Beverage industry.
Experience within the QSR category would be preferred.
Proven experience working successfully with multifunctional teams to ensure achievement of strategic business goals.
Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify growth opportunities, manage customer portfolios, and deliver profitable business results.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across customer organisations and internal functions.
Demonstrated negotiation and influencing skills to drive customer engagement, secure new business opportunities, and support long-term partnerships.
Results-oriented and self-driven, with strong planning and organisational capabilities to effectively manage priorities in a dynamic business environment.
