We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Fitter to join a leading pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on tradesperson who enjoys working with machinery, electrical systems and production equipment in a fast-paced environment.
Your Responsibilities will include:

Install, maintain and repair electrical and mechanical equipment, machinery and production systems

Diagnose electrical faults and troubleshoot machinery breakdowns efficiently

Carry out preventative and corrective maintenance in accordance with maintenance schedules

Set up, test and commission new machinery and production equipment

Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics and technical documentation

Perform electrical testing and inspections to ensure equipment operates safely and reliably
-
Assist with machinery upgrades, modifications and continuous improvement projects

Respond to breakdowns and minimise production downtime

Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation

Ensure all work is completed in accordance with workplace safety, quality and pharmaceutical GMP requirements

Work closely with Production, Engineering and Maintenance teams to ensure reliable plant operation
Skills and Experience:
-
Electrical Fitter, Electrical Mechanic or equivalent trade qualification
-
Previous experience in manufacturing, production or industrial environments
-
Strong electrical fault-finding and problem-solving skills
-
Experience working with automated machinery and production equipment is highly desirable
-
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and disciplines

Knowledge of regulatory requirements and standards applicable to mechanical engineering.
