About the program:
LMA has entered into an arrangement with BAE, Saab and CoA (MIWS) for the execution of all Combat System Integration work related to the Aegis Surface Combatant fleet.

The agreement, called the Combat Systems Integration – Integrated Project Team (CSI-IPT) Collaboration Agreement or CCA forms a collaborative enterprise organisation to execute scopes of work across Hobart Class Destroyer (SEA4000 Phase 6 and other related Destroyer Capability Enhancement (DCE) upgrades) and the Hunter Class Frigates (HCFs - SEA5000 Phase 1). The CSI-IPT evolves the current independently executing programs such as SEA4000 Phase 6 and SEA5000 Phase 1 under an umbrella enterprise organisation formed as a program of programs.

About the role:
We are seeking a Business Intelligence & Performance Analyst to join the CSI-IPT DDG team. This role is responsible for delivering data-driven insights, contractual and governance reporting, performance analytics, and executive-level reporting to support decision-making across the Combat System Integrated Project Team.

Working closely with Engineering, Program Management, Commercial, and Governance stakeholders, the role will establish and maintain reporting frameworks, develop meaningful performance metrics, drive reporting drumbeats, and provide analytical insights into program performance, risks, trends, and contractual obligations. The successful candidate will play a key role in transforming data into actionable intelligence that supports delivery performance and strategic decision-making across the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities Include:

Develop, maintain, and continuously improve performance metrics, and reporting frameworks.
Run reporting activities, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of reporting obligations under the CSI-IPT Collaboration Agreement and related program commitments.
Establish and manage reporting drumbeats across the enterprise, coordinating monthly, quarterly, and milestone-based reporting cycles.
Analyse program, engineering, workforce, financial, and operational performance data to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and areas requiring management attention.
Produce executive-level reports, performance scorecards, and management dashboards to support governance forums and leadership decision-making.
Consolidate and synthesise data from multiple sources into meaningful insights and recommendations.
Support governance activities by preparing reporting packs, briefing materials, and performance analytics for review boards, steering committees, and leadership forums.
Develop and maintain KPI frameworks that measure program performance against contractual, operational, and strategic objectives.
Ensure data integrity, reporting consistency, and effective data management practices across stakeholder groups.
Identify opportunities to automate reporting and improve reporting efficiency through Power BI, data visualisation, and analytical tools.
Support continuous improvement initiatives through root cause analysis, performance trend assessment, and data-driven recommendations.
Track, monitor, and report on actions, decisions, risks, and outcomes arising from governance reviews and leadership forums.

About you:

You will bring:

Experience in Business Intelligence, Performance Reporting, Program Analytics, or PMO reporting within complex project environments.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into meaningful business insights.
Advanced capability in Excel and Power BI, including dashboard development, data modelling, and data visualisation.
Experience developing executive reporting packs, performance scorecards, and governance reports.
Strong understanding of KPI development, performance measurement frameworks, and reporting governance.
Experience managing recurring reporting cycles and coordinating reporting inputs across multiple stakeholders.
Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to work across technical, program, commercial, and leadership teams.
Strong written communication skills, capable of presenting analytical findings clearly to executive audiences.
Continuous improvement mindset with a focus on reporting optimisation, automation, and data quality.

Desirable:

Experience within Defence, aerospace, naval, or highly regulated environments.
Understanding of contractual reporting obligations and program performance management.
Experience with Enterprise Reporting, PMO, Portfolio Management, or Integrated Program Management environments.
Exposure to SAP, Clarity, Power Platform, Power BI, Tableau, or similar reporting and analytics toolsets.
Understanding of Defence governance, engineering delivery, or complex systems integration programs.
