As Head of Data, you will be responsible for developing and executing G'day Group's enterprise data strategy, ensuring our data is trusted, accessible and positioned to enable business performance, operational excellence and AI innovation.
You'll lead a high-performing data function across strategy, engineering, governance, business intelligence and analytics, partnering closely with Technology and business leaders to build scalable data platforms and deliver meaningful business insights.
You'll be responsible for:

Developing and delivering the Group's enterprise data strategy aligned to business priorities and AI enablement.

Building scalable, secure and modern data platforms that support reporting, analytics and emerging AI capabilities.

Establishing enterprise data governance, ownership and quality frameworks.

Leading the evolution of business intelligence, dashboards and self-service analytics.

Partnering with executive leaders to identify high-value opportunities where data, automation and AI can improve customer, commercial and operational outcomes.

Driving a data-led culture by improving data literacy and embedding data into everyday decision making.

Leading, mentoring and developing a high-performing data and analytics team.

Managing strategic technology partners, vendors and budgets to maximise business value.
You're a strategic technology leader who understands that great data capability is about enabling better business decisions—not just building platforms.
You'll bring:

Significant experience leading enterprise data, analytics or data engineering functions.

A proven track record developing and delivering enterprise-wide data strategies.

Strong knowledge of modern cloud data platforms, enterprise architecture, data warehousing and integration technologies.

Experience implementing data governance, master data and data quality frameworks.
-
Success delivering business intelligence, advanced analytics and AI-enabled solutions that create measurable business value.

Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence executives and translate business needs into practical technology outcomes.

A passion for innovation and a genuine curiosity to continue building capability in AI and emerging technologies.

Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Science or a related discipline.
