Newpoint Advisory (NA) provides financial analysis, distressed property managementand formal insolvency services to the property and construction industries acrossAustralia. Our assignments range from partly completed property developments,development sites, commercial properties and residential properties.

This role suits a candidate with accounting / insolvency experience, who has a keen interest in the property and construction industries.

Qualifications and Experience Required:

Appropriate restructuring and advisory experience (+2 years).
Bachelors Degree in Business / Accounting preferred.
Previous experience in restructuring, accounting, property or finance roles is favourable.
Clear written and verbal communications skills.
Commercial attitude to problem solving, negotiation and timely decisions.
Motivated and efficient with an ability to take ownership of assigned matters and coordinate multiple work streams.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

Detailed financial modelling, forecast cashflow and feasibility analysis of a portfolio ofproperties.
Identify, analyse and implement strategic and creative options to maximise property realisations and outcomes across a range of distressed property types and locations.
Coordinating contractors and consultants for property maintenance and repairs.
Coordinate lawyers, sales agents, builders, and other consultants to deliver target outcomes.
Prepare reports for stakeholders.
Work alongside in-house Delivery Advisory team to mange construction projects.
