As part of our Commercial Insights & Analytics team, you’ll support the delivery of data, reporting and insights across our Commercial business units, with a focus on Range & Space. Working closely with your Manager and a broad group of stakeholders, you’ll help turn complex data into clear, practical insights that support better commercial decision-making.
This is a great opportunity for someone who is confident working with data, curious about retail, and keen to build experience across dashboards, reporting, stakeholder engagement and commercial problem solving.
In this role, you will:

Lead, facilitate insight generation workshops with varied end user groups

Become a key contact for the varied business units in the design and use of the enterprise-wide data platform, this will include identifying new data streams both internal and external

Deliver high-quality commercial insights, analytics dashboards, and reporting
- Collaborate with our centralised IT Data Hub within the hub and spoke model to support the Coles Group Data Strategy
As part of a small and highly collaborative team, you will work closely with stakeholders across the Commercial function and have tangible impact through the insights you deliver. If you enjoy learning new tools, asking good questions and turning information into insights that others can understand and act on this could be a great opportunity for you.
You will also bring:

Demonstrated experience in SQL and data visualisation tools (Microsoft Power BI preferred)

Strong capability in PowerPoint and Excel, with the ability to communicate
data-driven insights and strategy -
Experience working with databases and cloud-based data platforms (Snowflake highly regarded)

Experience working with retail product data (highly regarded)
-
Proven ability to work with and influence stakeholders within a complex matrix environment
-
Experience facilitating workshops and presenting to varied audiences, with the ability to tailor data management concepts to different levels of literacy

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate insights to both technical and nontechnical audiences
