The Brisbane Entertainment Centre are seeking Casual experienced cleaners to join our team. Our Presentation Services Team Members ensure the immaculate presentation of the Brisbane Entertainment Centre across all scheduled events.

ABOUT YOU

Everyday our people are responsible for delivering extraordinary experiences for every guest who walks through our doors.

You will have:

Experience working in a busy cleaning environment across a large venue or commercial cleaning operation;
The ability to work with large numbers of guests congregated in the Centre’s public areas;
Ability to work as part of a team within a fast paced environment high level attention to detail and thorough cleaning standards;
Have the ability to take direction and follow instruction;
Excellent communication skills;
Have flexibility and availability to work a range of shifts including days, evenings, weekends and public holidays across our busy event schedule;
A commitment to providing customer service excellence;
Own Transport is advantageous as many shifts do not align with public transport schedules.

Qualifications & Licences:

- A current Paid Employment - Working with Children Blue Card or the ability to gain one before being rostered is essential.

- Certificate II in Cleaning - desirable

- Certificate III in Cleaning Operations - desirable

Note* Some post event cleans will be scheduled immediately after the event ends and therefore availability to work late at night into the early hours of the next morning.

ABOUT THE VENUE

Built by the Brisbane City Council as a world class multipurpose facility, the Brisbane Entertainment Centre formed part of Brisbane's bid for the 1992 Olympic Games. The Centre has been operated since its inception by Legends Global (formerly ASM Global and AEG Ogden Brisbane Pty Ltd). Ownership was transferred to Stadiums Queensland (formerly Major Sports Facilities Authority) from 1 July 2002.

The Brisbane Entertainment Centre has hosted a diverse range of events including Monster Trucks, Supercross, Circuses, Bull Riding, Concerts, Conventions, School Speech Nights, Ice Spectaculars, Wrestling and Boxing.

Primarily recognised as a venue to host concerts, family shows and sporting events, the Brisbane Entertainment Centre also specialises in staging corporate events in particular conferences, seminars, product launches and gala banquets.
