About the role

Temporary part time opportunity welcoming patients, visitors, and staff, advise them of any changes to visiting requirements and help them find their way to their destination. As the first encounter of a patient or visitors' journey, it's essential the concierge provide helpful, consistent, and compassionate messaging to patients and visitors.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

Provide administration support to the Concierge Desk of Royal Brisbane & Women's Hospital
Greet patients, families, carers, relatives, and colleagues professionally and courteously on arrival and ensure out of scope questions are referred to the appropriate department or Supervisor.
Assist patients and visitors with wayfinding and provide advice regarding visitation restrictions.
Demonstrated ability to remain calm, show empathy, understanding and provide patient centred care as the priority and focus.
