The Stonez Restaurant is currently looking for an experienced, hands-on Kitchen Supervisor who leads from the front, thrives in a busy service, and takes pride in producing consistently high-quality food while building a positive kitchen culture.

If you're someone who enjoys leading a team, staying organised under pressure, and making every service run like clockwork, we'd love to hear from you.

About the Role:

As Kitchen Supervisor, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day running of our kitchen alongside our management team. You'll ensure every dish leaving the pass reflects the quality and consistency The Stonez is known for.

This role is perfect for someone ready to step into a leadership position or an experienced supervisor looking for a fresh challenge.

What You'll Be Doing:

✔ Leading the kitchen team throughout service.

✔ Supervising food preparation and ensuring consistency across every meal.

✔ Maintaining high standards of presentation, quality and portion control.

✔ Supporting, training and mentoring kitchen staff.

✔ Assisting with rostering and daily kitchen operations.

✔ Ordering stock and maintaining inventory levels.

✔ Managing stock rotation and reducing food waste.

✔ Ensuring all Food Safety, HACCP and WHS procedures are followed.

✔ Working closely with management to improve kitchen performance and customer satisfaction.

✔ Helping create a positive, respectful and high-performing team culture.

We're Looking For Someone Who Has:

✔ Previous experience as a Kitchen Supervisor, Sous Chef or Senior Chef.

✔ Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop others.

✔ Experience working in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

✔ Excellent organisational and time management skills.

✔ A solid understanding of food safety, hygiene and kitchen compliance.

✔ Experience with stock ordering, cost control and minimising waste.

✔ A calm, positive attitude under pressure.

✔ A genuine passion for producing quality food and leading by example.

✔ Availability to work nights, weekends and public holidays.
