Crystal Aura Food & Beverages is launching an exciting Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) café in Melbourne CBD, combining authentic Indian street food with modern Australian café favourites.
We are looking for a passionate and reliable Sous Chef to support our Head Chef in delivering high-quality food and maintaining efficient kitchen operations.
About the Role
As Sous Chef, you will:
- Assist the Head Chef with day-to-day kitchen operations.
- Prepare and present food to a consistently high standard.
- Maintain food safety and hygiene standards.
- Assist with stock control and food preparation.
- Support and mentor junior kitchen staff.
- Work efficiently during busy service periods.
- Help maintain a clean, organised and professional kitchen.
About You
You will have:
- Minimum 1 year of commercial kitchen experience.
- Experience in Indian cuisine, café kitchens or QSR environments (preferred).
- Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- The ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment.
