Daher’s Industry Division site in Stuart, Florida is a key U.S. manufacturing facility specializing in the assembly of complex metallic and composite aerostructures for major commercial and defense aircraft programs. The site produces large, critical aircraft structures—including wings, fuselage sections, and structural assemblies—for leading aerospace customers such as Boeing and Gulfstream, combining advanced manufacturing, industrialization, and quality‑driven production processes. As part of Daher’s global Industry Division, the Stuart operation emphasizes safety, precision, and continuous improvement while supporting high‑rate aerospace production and investing in workforce development, technology, and long‑term growth in the North American aerospace market.
Primary Role and Responsibilities:
Daher is seeking a Production Buyer to support the procurement of materials and services for our aerostructures manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for managing supplier relationships, sourcing activities, contract execution, and operational purchasing performance to ensure uninterrupted production and cost-effective supply chain management.
What you’ll be doing day-to-day:

Manage production purchasing activities for assigned commodities and suppliers.

Lead RFQs, supplier negotiations, contract implementation, and sourcing initiatives.

Monitor supplier performance related to Cost, Quality, Delivery, and Risk (CQDR).

Ensure on-time availability of materials and services to support production requirements.

Support cost reduction, cost avoidance, and supplier performance improvement initiatives.

Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, and Engineering teams to resolve supplier issues and support production continuity.

Contribute to supplier risk management, purchasing projects, and continuous improvement initiatives.
What you need to have:

Bachelor's degree in Purchasing, Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field.

3 to 7 years of procurement or purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment.

Experience with sourcing, supplier management, contract negotiations, and ERP systems.

Aerospace or aviation industry experience is strongly preferred.

Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Fluent in English; French is a plus.
