Join Our Team as an Administrative Assistant at Low Cost Housing

Are you organised, detail-oriented, and confident working with Excel and customer databases? Do you remain calm, professional, and solutions-focused when handling challenging customer situations? If you’re looking for a stable, long-term role within a growing company, this opportunity could be the right fit.

About the Role

This is a part-time position (24 hours per week) offering the opportunity to become an integral part of our team. You will play a key role in supporting daily operations across database management, customer service, and administrative functions. As the business continues to grow, there will be opportunities to expand your responsibilities and develop within the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

Database Management

Maintain and update customer databases with accuracy and attention to detail.
Organise and track financial records, including payments, council rates, insurance, and land tax obligations.
Ensure records are current, structured, and audit-ready.

Customer Support and Sales Assistance

Respond to customer enquiries promptly and professionally.
Address concerns, resolve payment queries, and manage difficult conversations with confidence and diplomacy.
Issue monthly payment reminders and follow up on overdue accounts.
Support general sales administration where required.

Administrative Support

Manage executive calendars and coordinate meetings.
Handle incoming calls and emails with a professional, customer-focused approach.
Prepare and review correspondence, reports, and presentations.
Assist with travel arrangements and general office administration.
Maintain organised physical and digital filing systems.
Support internal meetings, office coordination, and supply management.

Requirements

Strong proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
Previous experience in administration or customer service.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to remain composed when managing challenging situations.
Strong organisational skills, time management, and attention to detail.
Professional, reliable, and able to handle confidential information with discretion.
