About the Role
We're seeking an experienced and proactive Administration Officer to join our Sales team in Dandenong. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys delivering exceptional customer service, building strong stakeholder relationships, and solving problems before they become issues.
As an Administration Officer, you'll play a vital role in supporting our Sales team by delivering high-quality administrative and customer service support. You'll work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless day-to-day operations while creating a positive experience for customers and colleagues.
This role is perfect for someone who enjoys investigating issues, identifying solutions, and ensuring every detail is handled accurately and efficiently.
What You'll Be Doing
- Coordinate a wide range of administrative activities to support the Sales team
- Develop strong relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure customers receive a premium level of service
- Investigate, identify and rectify administrative, customer service and process-related issues
- Maintain accurate records and process invoices and purchase orders
- Prepare quotations, tender responses and sales reports
- Respond to employee and customer enquiries promptly and professionally
- Complete accurate data entry, maintain databases and support compliance requirements
- Assist with reporting and sales administration activities
- Provide general administrative support and other duties as required
About You
To be successful in this role, you'll bring:
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar administration role
- Strong Microsoft Office skills and the ability to quickly learn new systems
- Experience using CRM systems such as Salesforce
- Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
- A proactive and inquisitive mindset with strong investigative and problem-solving abilities
- Confidence building relationships with stakeholders across the business
- Outstanding communication skills and a customer-first approach
- Flexibility, adaptability and a willingness to support evolving business needs.
