The successful applicant will be responsible for:
- Planning and managing civil engineering aspects of residential construction projects.
- Preparing specifications and technical documentation.
- Conducting site inspections and evaluating soil, drainage and foundation conditions.
- Coordinating engineering requirements with architects, surveyors, builders and subcontractors.
- Ensuring construction works comply with Australian Standards, the National Construction Code (NCC), local council requirements and relevant legislation.
- Monitoring construction progress and providing technical guidance during project delivery.
- Reviewing engineering calculations, structural reports and construction methodologies.
- Assisting with cost estimates, project scheduling and resource planning.
- Identifying engineering risks and implementing practical solutions.
- Liaising with regulatory authorities and consultants to obtain required approvals.
- Preparing project reports, engineering documentation and compliance records.
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project quality, safety and efficiency.
Pay: $90,000.00 – $110,000.00 per year
